For the past month or so, I along with my wife and kids, have been going down the road to home ownership. This has had it's ups and downs, as everything in life tends to. But, in the end, and to the shock of us all I think... we are moving closer and closer to Closing. If the stars and fates align, at the end of next month I will live in the first home I've ever actually owned.
This is at once thrilling and terrifying.
If I seem scarce with commenting on work for the next couple of days/weeks/months - that would be why. I know I don't submit like I used to (lots of reasons why - none of matter much since I still don't submit), but I really do try hard to keep up with my friends out there by putting in a word or two on a journal or work of art. Everyone I've met on DA has been absolutely top-notch, and I don't want y'all to think I've abandoned you utterly. Just for a short term, while we get our acts together enough to get into the house - and then get settled once we're in.
So, I'll talk to everyone soon I hope. And till I see ya again - stay well, stay happy, and most of all... stay true to you.
Ciao for now.
