Hubub and Hulabaloo

Sun Mar 15, 2009, 11:09 PM
Life is never more interesting than when you are on the threshold of change.

For the past month or so, I along with my wife and kids, have been going down the road to home ownership. This has had it's ups and downs, as everything in life tends to. But, in the end, and to the shock of us all I think... we are moving closer and closer to Closing. If the stars and fates align, at the end of next month I will live in the first home I've ever actually owned.

This is at once thrilling and terrifying.

If I seem scarce with commenting on work for the next couple of days/weeks/months - that would be why. I know I don't submit like I used to (lots of reasons why - none of matter much since I still don't submit), but I really do try hard to keep up with my friends out there by putting in a word or two on a journal or work of art. Everyone I've met on DA has been absolutely top-notch, and I don't want y'all to think I've abandoned you utterly. Just for a short term, while we get our acts together enough to get into the house - and then get settled once we're in.

So, I'll talk to everyone soon I hope. And till I see ya again - stay well, stay happy, and most of all... stay true to you. :)

Ciao for now.

OMG IT IS PAUL! HI PAUL! I just looked through your pics a bit more to try and figure out who you were, and I saw the light socket and it dawned on me, "It *IS* Paul!" Wow, it means a lot that you added me to watch.
:iconenpsyane:
My pleasure, bro. :)
Welcome to DA, and it's good to see ya.

Perfect. That is how I was hoping it would work. I did not know who would actually look, but I thought I would give it a try. :D I am glad that you found me though, I have always looked up to your artwork, so it is very humbling that you would put me on watch!

That is very cool of you to put me on watch. Thanks!
